scale events), But is Capable of Competing at the Highest Level....
UNLIMITED...as well as freestyle, including **3D**!
* THIS AIRCRAFT IS INCREDIBLY LIGHT - UP TO 1/3 LIGHTER THAN COMPETITORS
* AND * it is all wood, built up conventionally, for ease of building
* PLUS * it contains typical Great Planes Plans and Manual to make it
a joy to build and make getting started in giant scale easy!
At the Time of This Writing, This is the Only Widely Distributed 330L On
the Market! The 330L combines the Smooth Performance of an Extra with the
Huge Performance Tail of Models Like the CAP 232!
FEATURES: Stab Halves and Wing Halves Both on Tubes for Easy Removal, service
Handling and Transportation.
Constructed of Balsa and Plywood, the Entire Fuselage Consists of
Interlocking, Die-Cut Parts and Stringers resulting in an easy-to-

HUGE, Scale Rudder and Elevators for Optimum Aerobatic Performance.
Balsa Sheeting Over the Front and Rear Decks Means No Large Balsa
Blocks To Sand Later.
Scale Fuselage Shape, including Matching the mixed outer "Skin"
appearance -- sheeted where full scale is composite, open framework
where the full scale is tube and fabric.
LASER CUTTING of wood parts where perfect fitting around wing/stab
tubes is required.
Complete and detailed plans and manual not only walk the builder
through every step of completion including pre-engineered radio
installation but even has information on computer radios, learning
aerobatics, and 3D freestyle!

COMMENTS: The Difference Between A Good & A Great Aerobatic Performer Is Its
Slow Speed Handling, Ease and Predictability In Flight. This
Kit Is Truly A GREAT Performer -- It Can Be A Newer Modelers First
Giant Scale or A Seasoned Competitor's Competition Airplane.
This Model Is IDEAL For Smooth, Clean, Scale Aerobatic (IMAC)
Competition. It Is Exceptionally Good At Manuevers Such As
Vertical Snaps, Rolling Circles and Torque Rolls as well as many
3D manuevers (even covered in the documentation).
Flutter is a Very Real Concern On All Truly Aerobatic Aircraft. This
Model Is NOT Intended for Exceptionally High Speed, and as such
This Design REQUIRES A Prop with No More Than A 10 Pitch. This
Is Not A Flaw of the Aircraft, But A Side Effect of the Exceptional
Aerobatic Capabilities of This Aircraft.
Box Covering is Insignia Blue, Cub Yellow, Orange, Missile Red.
See ACG Optionals for Covering Stock Numbers.
DECALS: One Decal Sheet Included (EXTGD01). It Includes Call Numbers
GPAT Logo, Instrument Panel. E330L for rudder,

NOTE ON USING THE MACMINARELLI 85cc in this aircraft: ir/jl
This engine is an EXCELLENT choice for unlimited performance;
however, in order to fit it entirely inside the cowl the modeler
will need to purchase a mini spark plug kit for the engine. We
do not offer this product, your local lawn mower shop can provide
these, just ask for 'short spark plug caps. Alternatively,
the cowl can be cut to clear the standard sized plugs.
DECAL: Kit includes one decal sheet, EXTGD01, which includes the
D-GNTC, E330L, Extra 330L, GPAT, and dash panel decals. This
decal is available special order from Great Planes manufacturing.
CANOPY: Canopy is not butyrate, it is Lustrekote-safe material.
COWL FIT: (see specs for cowling measurements)
Cowl fit -- the cowl is intentionally too large. Cut the air outlet
bottom then fit the cowling by lining up cowl top center, then pull
it gently down around the aircraft's firewall for a perfect fit.
THIS IS INTENTIONAL AND NOT A FLAW OR MISFIT COWL.
Decal sheet EXTGD01 sold only through GP Manufacturing includes:
Two 8" x 2-7/8" yellow D-GNTC
Two 7-1/2" x 2-3/4" yellow E330L logos
Two 1-1/8" x 1" yellow script L
One 9" x 2-5/8" black & white instrument panel
Two 2-1/4" x 2-3/4" red, white & blue GP Aerobatic Team logos
